1 small onion, diced

1 clove garlic, minced

1 egg

2 TBSP olive oil

2 TBSP water

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

1-2 TBSP white rice flour

2 TBSP (30 ml) water

¼ tsp (1.25 ml) salt

¼ tsp (1.25 ml) pepper

1-2 TBSP (15-30 ml) white rice flour

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the hamburger mixture from the fridge and form into four patties. If the patties do not stick together, add another tablespoon of rice flour to the mixture.
  • Heat a small amount of olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • When the pan is hot, add the hamburgers.
  • Cook for about 7 minutes on each side, or until the hamburgers reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
