Improving the Care of Patients with Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis through Nutrition
We know that food matters. Diet has recently become a main focus of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) research, and study after study point toward the role of dietary therapy in the treatment of IBD. There are now multiple different dietary therapies that have been shown to induce remission and improve symptoms in patients with IBD, and many more are currently being researched.
The recent movement towards the study of dietary therapies for IBD would not be possible without the voices of countless individuals like yourself who have advocated for the importance of the relationship between diet and disease. We share your passion. Nutritional Therapy for IBD (NTforIBD) was founded by individuals who have experienced the life changing effect of nutritional therapy for patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
You can help to promote awareness of the available nutritional therapies and to provide resources for integrating nutritional therapy into clinical practice. Many patients don’t get the opportunity to learn how nutrition can affect the course of their IBD. Together we can ensure that every patient with IBD is presented with the option to include dietary therapy in their treatment plan. By supporting our organization, you help build the bridge connecting providers and clinicians to the tools and resources they need to provide nutritional therapy to every child and adult with IBD.
Your support allows NTforIBD to attend upcoming medical conferences, maintain and add to our website, and create new tools and resources for patients and providers. Nutritional Therapy for IBD is an organization driven by shared passion, not profit. All of our resources are free and available to anybody interested. 100% of your donations will help us spread awareness of nutritional therapies so every patient has the option to use dietary therapy as a part of their treatment.
Thank you for considering partnering with us in our mission to promote awareness of nutritional therapies for patients with IBD. Together we will change the lives of patients with IBD around the world.
